First-degree cousin died of Leukemia.
Grandmother died of Leukemia.
My aunt had cancer. (She survived, though. Yay.)
I'm anemic, and I'm scared.
I
went about for a walk one day and found myself standing in front of a
door. A big, heavy door. What time do I have for a door? There is
someplace I need to be. Still, curiosity got the better of me. I opened
it to see what lies inside.
What is this? It was nothing I have ever seen before. Can this be? I am among the stars? Hopes and dreams. These aren't real. Or are they? Whatever they are, I like them. And my, what a beautiful place to continue my walk. Yes, I must walk. There is someplace I need to be. X marks the spot. There! I need to be there.
I walk along. But somehow, among the spots an stripes, I seem to have lost my way. I ask for directions. Where is X? And I am pointed to all directions. All directions but to X. Stars give bad directions. I need a map.
I continue walking in this place. Yes, I must walk. There is someplace I need to be.
