Focusing distance is different which will not make them the same.
24-70 Minimum Focus Distance 1.25'
70-200 Minimum Focus Distance 4.6'
You will get a much shallower DoF with the 24-70 at a closer range than the 70-200. The 24-70 is macro 70-200 is not. To achieve almost the same results with the 70-200 you would have to be 3 more feet away at 200mm versus the 24-70 at 70mm.

Strobist info.
Done on top of a black book shelf with a black veloure backdrop hanging loosely about 18 inches behind product.
Two ceiling bounced flash about 6 feet in front left and right, and hand held a small morris midi slave flash just behind product with red gel pointing at corner of sloping fabric.
In PP desaturated red and orange to just leave a hint of red. Also in DPC Advertisement III
