Well, I went ahead and sent my N800 in for repair several weeks ago, deciding I had to at least give Nokia a chance to fix things.

I finally, today, got a padded envelope back from the Nokia Repair Center where the envelope flap had been sealed to the inside of the envelope - IOW, it was sealed so that the envelope was left OPEN.

Not surprisingly, inside the envelope is a letter telling me that they had to replace my device, and apologizing for the delay, but with NO DEVICE INSIDE.

IOW, Nokia has just managed to steal my $400 and to let me know in no uncertain terms that they've f'd me over...

My apologies for the language, but I will NEVER, EVER, EVER buy another Nokia phone or device again. And I hope that if you value your friends and loved ones, that you'll steer them away from Nokia as well.
