One of the big reasons I've been otherwise occupied has been my work on an Original English Language Visual Novel - Senior Year. And it's finally been released at www.bklovr.com.

I'm planning a trip next summer to visit Yellowstone National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Mesa Verde National Park. I'd like to map out the trip, with my stops being at the KOA campgrounds where I will be renting a cabin at each location. Now, last time I checked those weren't exactly unknown parks, and KOA has been around for a while. But trying to use the "Trip" services of each of those three mapping services, I can't get what I want. Rand McNally doesn't seem to acknowledge that there are national parks. Yahoo doesn't seem to let you add Yellowstone as an "Attraction" if you're staying in West Yellowstone. MapQuest can't find the KOA in West Yellowstone even with an address and zip code.

The Rand McNally one is the one that burns me the most since I actually PAID for that service...

Oh well, guess it's time to renew my AAA membership and use their map service.

Part of the reason I've been so sparse lately has been my work on an OEL Visual Novel called "Senior Year." It will be posted within the next week or so over at the bklovr site.

Working on this required me to develop some artistic talent (not easy for an old geezer), learn a good bit about Python programming, and then get some help from the folks at the Voice Acting Alliance to voice the characters.

Not sure at this point about doing a follow-on or not. But will let y'all know when I do.
